BES Chosen As A "Highest-Performing" Reward School

For the fourth consecutive year, Brooklet Elementary School was chosen as a "Highest-Performing School" by the Georgia Department of Education. According to the GADOE website, "A “Highest-Performing School" is a Title I school among the top 5% of Title I schools in the State that has the highest absolute performance over three years for the “all students” group on statewide assessments."

“These schools are shining examples of what we can achieve in public education in Georgia,” said State School Superintendent Dr. John Barge. “I want to take what’s working at our Reward Schools and replicate that in every school in the state. These are the schools making education work for all Georgians.”

Brooklet Elementary does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities. The following person has been designated to handle inquiries regarding nondiscrimination policies:

BES Art Class Project

decorated trash barrels by BES students.JPG

Students at Brooklet Elementary School have been working to design images for trash barrels.  The trash barrels will be used within the community and primarily for the Brooklet Peanut Festival.  Students will be creating a total of 20 trash barrels and there will be five different designs, so look for many beautiful trash barrels in the community.

Brooklet Elementary is proud to work with the City of Brooklet on this community project.  The project is a great way to help students feel a spirit of pride for the community in which they live.
